The Edo Cultural Center Project is sponsored by the Edo Association of Washington, DC Metropolis (EAWDC), a non-profit and non-partisan organization comprised of the Edo people in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Region (or National Capital Region) of the United States of America.

The Region is also popularly known by the locals as DMV or DC-Maryland-Virginia Region. EAWDC’s memberships spans the District of Columbia, the State of Maryland, and the Northern Virginia suburb, with long distance memberships in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina. The organization primarily represents all people of Edo origin and lineage in the DMV.
